Cabot courses are designed for walking, inspired by our deep love of nature and the land itself. We do not offer golf carts, as we are committed to providing a golf experience that allows guests to fully connect with the natural beauty of our surroundings. Our walking-only policy supports a more immersive, traditional style of play — one that honours the tradition of the game and encourages a deeper appreciation of the course’s landscape.

We have a limited number of medical carts for guests who provide a doctor’s note advising against walking the full length of the courses.

• Walking-Only Periods: October 3, 2024 – May 1, 2025 and October 3, 2025 – May 1, 2026.
• Golf Cart Availability: From May 1 – October 3, 2025, carts may be rented for:
  • Karoo & Roost: $35 per player
  • The Squeeze: $15 per player
  • Push Carts: Complimentary push carts are available year-round.

Yes! Cabot Citrus Farms offers a premier caddie program to enhance your golf experience.

• Forecaddies: Included in your golf rate on Roost and Karoo to provide expert course insights and assist with pace of play. A minimum gratuity of $30 per player is required, payable in cash after the round.
• Bag Carrier Caddies: Upgrade for $40 per player (in addition to the included forecaddie). These caddies carry your clubs and provide a more personalized experience. A minimum gratuity of $60 per player is required, payable in cash.
• Caddies are not allowed on The Squeeze or The Wedge courses.

Bag Carrier Caddie upgrades must be requested at least 48 hours before your tee time by emailing Concierge at concierge@cabotcitrusfarms.com (for Resort Guests) or Reservations at reservations@cabotcitrusfarms.com (for Day Guests).

We are open year-round, allowing golfers to enjoy our courses in every season.

• Peak Season: October – May
• Summer Season: June – September (golf carts available May 1 – October 3)
• Maintenance Period: Our annual course maintenance and aerification period takes place in July. During this time, select courses may be closed or have limited availability. Please note: Cabot Citrus Farms will be closed for maintenance from July 7 – July 27, 2025

Yes! Cabot Citrus Farms offers a complimentary shuttle service that runs regularly along Main Street, providing easy transportation between key areas of the property, including the golf courses, cottages, and dining outlets. If you need assistance getting to your tee time, just hop on the shuttle or ask a team member for help.

Cabot Citrus Farms offers premium TaylorMade Men’s and Women’s rental club sets to ensure you have the best equipment for your round. Our rental sets include the latest TaylorMade drivers, irons, wedges, and putters, providing top-tier performance for golfers of all skill levels.

Cost: $75 per day (exclusive of taxes)

Availability: We recommend reserving your rental clubs in advance to guarantee availability.

No, Cabot Citrus Farms welcomes golfers of all skill levels! There is no minimum handicap required to play our courses. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer to the game, our courses offer a variety of challenges and an unforgettable golf experience.

Cabot Citrus Farms remains open for play in light rain, but if the course is deemed unplayable due to severe weather (such as lightning or heavy rain), we will issue a prorated rain check based on the number of holes completed. Rain checks do not expire and can be used for a future round. Please visit the Golf Shop for assistance on the day of play.

Yes, Cabot Citrus Farms partners with Ship Sticks to offer a hassle-free way to transport your golf clubs. With preferred rates and an easy shipping process, your clubs can be waiting for you upon arrival. Learn more and book your shipment here.

Once you’ve placed your order, you will receive detailed instructions on how to package up your clubs for shipping, including a link to track your clubs in real-time.

Ship Sticks recommends choosing a delivery date 1-3 business days prior to your arrival.

Guests can stay in our luxury cottages, which offer a comfortable and spacious retreat just steps from world-class golf. Each cottage is designed with relaxed, easygoing luxury in mind, providing the perfect setting for your stay.

If you arrive before your cottage is ready, you’re welcome to enjoy the property. Our Bell Staff can securely store your luggage until check-in.

For late check-out requests, please inquire with the Front Desk the evening before departure. Late check-out is subject to availability.

Resort Guests can book tee times when reserving accommodations (12-18 months in advance).

Day Guests can book up to 6 months in advance.

Tee Times:

• Resort Guests: Tee times are non-refundable and non-transferable if canceled within 48 hours of play.
• Day Guests: Tee times are non-refundable and non-transferable if canceled within 30 days of play.
  Cancellations made before 30 days will receive a full refund.

Caddies:

• Forecaddies are automatically canceled if a tee time is canceled.
• Bag Carrier Caddies must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges.

Accommodations:

• 60+ days before arrival: No penalty for cancellations.
• 30-60 days before arrival: Initial deposit is forfeited.
• Less than 30 days before arrival: Full accommodation fees are forfeited.

We have a 6.5% sales tax (6% FL and 0.5% Hernando County) that is applied to all services and products, as well as a 5% tourist development tax on lodging only.

We charge all services in USD.

By Air

• The nearest major airport is Tampa International Airport (TPA), approximately 50 minutes away.
• Orlando International Airport (MCO) is about 90 minutes away.
• Private flights can land at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport (BKV), just 15 minutes from the property.

By Car

• From Tampa: Take I-75 North to FL-50 West, then follow signs to Cabot Citrus Farms.
• From Orlando: Take Florida’s Turnpike North to I-75 North, then exit at FL-50 West.
• From Jacksonville: Take I-95 South to I-295 South, then I-75 South to FL-50 West.

Yes, complimentary parking is available throughout Cabot Citrus Farms for all guests. Designated parking areas are located near the cottages, golf courses, and clubhouse. Valet service is not currently offered.

No, breakfast is not included in the room rate. However, we offer a variety of dining options on-site where you can enjoy a delicious start to your day. Please visit our dining outlets for menus and hours of operation.

While pets are not permitted on the golf courses, service animals are always welcome.

Cabot Citrus Farms offers mid-stay housekeeping service for guests staying four nights or longer. For shorter stays, housekeeping is available upon request for an additional fee.

Yes, we have a relaxed golf dress code that allows for comfort while maintaining a great golf experience.

• Golf Attire: Collared shirts, golf-specific mock necks, and athletic wear are welcome.
• Footwear: Golf shoes with soft spikes or athletic shoes are required.
• Casual Attire: In dining areas, resort casual is encouraged.

Denim and swimwear are not permitted on the golf courses. Our priority is for you to feel comfortable while enjoying your round!
